Legendary Painter M.F. Husain, the recipient of the Padma Bhushan in 1973 and the Padma Vibhushan in 1991 is Raving about Amrita Rao's Pristine Beauty. Amrita Rao says that his admiring comments takes her next-door girl image to another level.
Husain saw “ Vivah ” more than 25 times and decided to choose Amrita Rao as the “ Main Theme ”of his forthcoming Painting Exibitions which was an honor bestowed upon only Madhuri Dxit in the past, unlike Tabu who was only his Main Lead in “ Meenaxi A Tale of 3 Cities ” Tabu was never the Theme of Hussain’s Paintings.
The painter calls Amrita Rao as “ A youthful face of the ultimate Indian woman.” who in return shows her gratitude by saying that “ It is the best compliment of my life."
Amrita was overwhelmed when M.F.Husain painted her Portrait without a pause as she sat in front of him in his Studio at Dubai.“ Husain Sahab painted my features with such finesse that anybody can tell its me! He even managed to get that half smile on my face perfect to the T ” says Amrita zapped with the strokes of the 93 year old Painter.M.F. Husain even gifted Amrita with his highly valuable Paintings which according to Amrita is the lovelies Gift she could have got from a Painter addressed by many as “ The Picasso of India ”
Shahrukh Khan also made a visit to Hussain’s Studio while Photographer Atul Kasbekar captured the entire painting session in his camera.
